About Dr. Celebi
Dr. Celebi completed her dermatology residency training at Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York. She joined the faculty at Columbia University in 1998. She completed translational and basic science research training in cancer genetics. She joined Mount Sinai in 2013. She is a member of the Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai. Her clinical expertise is on cosmetic dermatology, and moles and skin cancers.
Dr. Celebi is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the Irving Scholarship from Columbia University, the Dermatology Foundation's Career Development Award, and grants from the Dow Foundation, Skin Cancer Foundation, Melanoma Research Foundation, Melanoma Research Alliance, and many awards from the National Institutes of Health and National Cancer Institute for her work in melanoma. Her laboratory studies focus on molecular genetics and epigenetics of melanoma.
